Had the car on a group dyno RR event today it made 324.9bhp 294.2lbs ft, with 293bhp @ the wheels Peak power was at 7184rpm @ 144mph (4th gear run car is 5 speed). So not bad at all really quite happy.
It took 5 people on the front and it finally gripped on the 5th run, it would have made more (prob the 344bhp ish it made originally) if it could have been made to give a figure on the 1st power run. The turbo and manifold were bright red on the final power run so figures would be down due to charge temps. Grip was the problem.
Using the IHI Vf34 it feels fully spooled by 3500rpm -3800rpm and Revs to the redline of 7500rpm. I just need some dry roads and some decent competition the locals scoobs are only upto 370bhp so its to easy leaving them behind. I had a P1 try its luck but having 30bhp more @ the wheels than he has at the flywheel meant it was over and done quickly. I think i will be attending a few v-max events next year where safe, legal fun can be had without having to look over my shoulder. Roll on the dry weather.
Am Motorsport will have the Am04 available soon. So if u have a Leon cupra (not R model) with an uprated dp/exhaust setup and cooling and the Am04 a Leon Cupra should see 270-290bhp. Forgot to say u may well need q 4 bar fpr and bigger injectors maybe TT225 ones or use your 3 bar fpr with gt3 470cc injectors.
