I was coming up the A1 Northbound and i came to some road works and a reduced speed limit of 40mph and the dual was reduced to a single lane. I slowed down to 40mph as there was workmen doing there thing and it was reduced to 40mph for a reason. So i am doing 40mph through the roads works and a car comes and sits right behind me to the point where i have to dip the rear view mirror he's glued to my arse being a real pain. I spot the End of road works sign coming up so i crank the boost up to max go from 4th to 2nd and i am sat waiting for it to go back to 2 lanes at 40mph roughly and about 4000rpm. As soon as he can he floors it and so do i by 85mph its over, hes been left well behind and i go back to normal. He then comes past and i realise is a classic V reg classic scoob with some form of exhaust/back box i should be ashamed of myself picking on such a weakling of a car. He get's to about 100m ahead and i keep my speed at about 80mph but he's slowing allowing me to catch up for some reason. As soon as i indicate to go around him and the car ahead he cuts me off. I just thought fair enough we will see who's the daddy big balls i u wanna tailgate me and then play the arse. At the next r-about i have managed to get myself ahead of him and he follows me off the r-about at speed. I go through 2nd, 3rd, 4th. When i look behind me it plain to see he cant keep up. By the end of 4th hes about 20-30 cars behind. I slow to 70mph and he follows for 10-15miles but never has the bottle to try again. Another scooby owners pays the price for driving a low powered jap rice burner. Poor old sod thought he was driving a modern day 4wd rally slag. Well thats what the used car salesman told him LOL.
