You wont find any scoobs worth playing with i would guess?. 911 turbo's are very quick. I got done over by a Noble but i was exspecting it to be honest (only 233bhp 255lbs ft in a 1119kg fwd car) that seemed to go quite well but nothing earth shattering tbo. I should have 340-350bhp 280lbs ft in the next 5-6 weeks if rumours are true, a rematch with the Noble would be intresting. I would have thought a gt2 or c4s would be very quick above 140mph.
I thought the Nsx was more of a handling car, and not so much of a power car..well anymore. I thought it had 275bhp which is not much it the current breed of high bhp monster cars. I am sure i wont get near gt2's and the high powered porkers. But i hope to be able to get past a Noble (The 340bhp one, not the 400bhp one) its what people say who already have the conversion. Porsche's top end just seem vey strong aerodynamics more than likely and a high cc motor.
Due to the Japanese being mental, they restricted the NSX (like everything else!!!) to 280 BHP but they like tinkering with them, much the same as we do with Cossie's, it looked like an import one to me as i don't think the v spec was released in this country!
Please correct me if i'm wrong!
In standard trim they'll do 0-60 in 5 secs and go on to 165mph!!!
Still belong parked outside the hairdressers though!!!!!!

They've just (ten years into production ) brought the NSX Type R to this country.
Stunning car
Only 276bhp but certainly makes the most of it!!
Wouldn't be suprised if they more than 276 tho, R34 GTR Skylines are supposed to be 276bhp but make more like 330 when ya stick them on the rollers
I swear they just write 276bhp down for a laugh, whos gonna check........lol
I used to work for a bike shop importing Jap motorcycles, that 112mph limiter is a pain in the ass Easily bypassed tho
Don't like guessing power figures tbh but I'd estimate around 380bhp too.
I'd be fcuked right off if torque was 330lb/ft tho!!
Shouldn't be far of the torque figure really 370-380lb/ft
32psi will give you a hell of a wedge of torque!
It's been on the rollers once and got to over 350lb/ft before developing a missfire (plug gaps ) and it was only a power run @ a shootout (A jap shootout..........lol) so couldn't sort it out and run it again

Ditto on both counts!!!
Will hopefully get up to interpro in late feb/early march!
Want to do my bike as well, as it is keeping up with my mates 134bhp tl and my other mates tuned rsv factory!!!
The old legend just keeps itself on the map!!!!
Need to get cleaning now, this is the cleanest out of the duke, t5 and cossie!!
My Saph 4x4 produces 401Bhp and 346LbsFt torque using Greys, T34, 500 intercooler etc etc.
Easily does away with any Jap stuff, M3's not a problem or standard porsches. New TVR's are a painn cos they are so light, its all about Power to Weight. Tuscan R = 400Bhp and 1000Kg that 400Bhp per Ton!!!!!!
Have had probs with tuned Skylines but they have 3 litres, 2 more cylinders and a spare turbo
At the end of the day you can't beat the look on someones face when a 12 year old Sierra wastes their 40K car!!!!!!!
I think the main top speed restrictors on the escort cossie are the low gear ratio's (why weren't they six gears ford?? - tooearly i suppose!) and that mahoosive tail, good for high speed cornering, but they must hold the car back at silly speeds!!!
My mate sat underneath mine in his MR2 turbo and said he could feel the speed difference, cause of the hole i was cutting in air! Head to head my cossie would batter his car usually, but when in the slipstream he could keep up with me!
