right,my old saff was a 2wd with JB Fletchs 418bhp 409 lbft engine in it,greys,34 psi t34 etc etc....

anyway, driving round cheltenham one night, bit bored laughing at boy racers trying to go quick, suddenly from behind all i see is a pair of headlights i know all too well weaving through traffic to get next to me on the 1 way system "SCOOBY!" oh dear, not another one! i look right and its a grey rb5 with some young boy who obviously got daddyto pay for it sitting there with his 15 year old mrs sitting next to him, traffic lights go green and we both start off slow, then i look over and see them both look at me and start to smile, followed by the sound of his turbo spooling up,fair enough i think, ill give him a chance! wait till he gets a car length ahead, then both feet down(gas and clutch!) sidestep clutch, wallop, bugger me it was quick!went past him sideways spitting flames from me grp n exhaust!next set of traffic lights i look over,no smiles anymore, just shock and disbeleif,i wind the window down and say "nice car mate!" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! oh bugger me that was bloody ace!

Thats funny as theres nothing better than knocking the smile off someones face that looks down on your car esp if its a scooby followed closely by BMW's

He broke it as after it snapped a cam lobe clean off and after a few hundred quid he got it back on the road, only for it to strip the cambelt a few miles later, so he decided enough was enough and he didn't want to bury another 4 - 6k in another engine.

was an animal yup,but as cossie says it kept beaking, silly little things that took big expensive things with them.camshaft snapped in half, repaired that, fuel rail came off (while teaching a 911 a lesson!),fixed that, diff broke, fixed that,on and on and on until at 60 mph it just stopped accelerating,i was just in traffic on motorway, not goin hard at all the bottom pulley stripped the  teeth on the cam belt, bottom end carried on goin round, top end didnt, end of! didnt have the minimum 3.5k to rebuild it!miss it like fook! putting a mi16 in my 205 at mo tho! should be good!
